Sonic: "yup we're about to land......look"
He pointed to the window and I reluctantly opened my eyes and lead over him to see what he wanted me to see. It was the Emerald Island it was Beautiful! The water looked so clear and blue the trees so green. I was amazed how colorful every thing was, I guess anything would look colorful to me after looking at nothing but snow all the time back at home.


Amy: "O My…. WOW! Look at The Ocean! *Gasp*  SONIC LOOK! OMG I CANT WAIT TO HIT THAT WATER WILL YOU…"


I stop short when I turned to look at Sonic, he looks like he's on nerves.


Amy: "What's wrong?"
I asked soft and low

Sonic: "….."


Amy: "Are you scared?....Is it something I said?....Is it the water?"



Sonic: " Pl…Please can we not talk about water till we land?"


Amy: " Oooo come on it's not sooo bad!"
I tolled him as I sat back down in my seat.

Sonic: "Please for me..... no more"
He pleaded in a soft tone, eyes hepatizing me and I lost train of thought. I was able to break his stare but only with help of Lilly when she called my name.

Lilly: Hey Amy can I talk to you for a moment?
She asked me with a fake smile on her face

Amy: "Huh yeah?"


Lilly: "Do you mind?"
She asked Sonic nicely she must not have wanted him to hear, but He made no sign of moving to give use some time to talk, he crossed his hands behind his head and leaded all the way back in his chair with a smug smile on his face and closed his eyes.


Sonic: "No I don't mind at all go a head"
He said feeling victorsly, Lilly then closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths to calm down after a short moment  a weked smile appeared on her face, she laugh ever so lightly before she spoke.


Lilly: "have it your way Sonic, Sooo Amy I was just thinking, but I thing I for got my tampons and....."
As soon as she said that magic word sonic flew up from his seat.


Sonic: " Huh...... You know I got to ask Blade something………. Sooooo….yeah"
He said as he walked swiftly away both Lilly and I giggled, Lilly sate down.


Amy: "So what ya really need?"


Lilly: "Will it might just be me but I have been getting a weird feeling… I don't know what it is? Its you know weird"


Amy: "O come on not you to! Look nothings going to happen ok? As soon as we can me and you well hit the beach and start tanning ok?


Lilly: "Your right silly me …huh …and your on about that tan!"
At that time we look over to the boys who was staring us down on the other side of the plan, every now and then they would say something to each other.


Lilly: "Something wrong?"
She glared them down


Blade: "Nothing…what ya'll talkin about?"
He asked with a smile


Lilly: "Do you rrrrrreeeeeeally want to know?"
Before Blade could speak Sonic answered for him.


Sonic: "NO NO were good! Really!"


*Girls Giggles*

About that time a voice came over the intercom of the plan.


Pilot: "Fasten you seat belts we're coming in for landing"

*And cue tropical up beat Jamaican music*

Lilly was the first one out of the plane With Me and the boys close behind her.

Lilly: O WOW LOOK AT THIS PLACE * Deep Breath* O LOOK A BIRD!!!
She said happily dancing down the stairs of the plan.

Amy: " wow O O How Beautiful!
I stop for just a moment to take it all in, The warm sun on my skin, the cool breeze that blew aver so lightly, sounds of the waves crashing up on the shore, but what amazed me the most, was how bright, colorful and full of life everthing was. I took a deep breath of the salty sea air and stared down the stairs again.

Blade: "EEhhhhhhhh you been to one beach you been to them all."
He didn't sound at all excited like me and Lilly where.

Lilly: o Shut up you jerk.


Amy: " Huh?... has anyone seen Sonic Get off yet?"


Blade: " HA the baby probable wont get off the plain he's too chic...AHHHHHH!

Blade was cut short by Sonic who came zooming by Blade making him fall down the last few steps off the plain, making a face plant in the sand below. But he didn't stop he kept going to the jungle. I guess it was eating him a live in that small plain for so long and not being able to run free.

Amy: "Poor guy."

Blade jumped up in furry and started to yell.

Blade: "Dame it! YEAH YOU BETTER RUN! JUST YOU WAIT PAY BACKS A BI..."

Lilly: "KNOCK IT OFF! I swear you two are worse then kids! UGH!"

?????: Welcome.
She came out of now where even though she spoke quitly Lilly and I jumped and screamed out.

*Girls Scream*

???? : I'm tarriorble sorry, don't be alarmed, my name is Marry, I well be showing you to your to your villa where you well be staying for the rest of ya'll stay."

Amy: " O  huh… Hello I'ma…I'm  Amy, Amy Rose, this is Lilly and Blade and Some where…around here ….maybe….is Sonic."
I said, reaching to shake her hand. She was quite nice, she was a bit taller then me and her hair was neatly tucked behind her ears, she wore a short shelves shirt with a black vest on top with her name tag on the side Her skirt was the same color as the vest and came just a little above her knees.


Marry: "It's very nice to meet you all, Now If ya'll will just fallow me."
She turned and didn't say another word. I looked back to Lilly who just shrugged her shoulders; Blade how ever was dusting the sand of his chlose off from earlyer. I turned around in the direction I saw Sonic run off to.


Amy " *Sigh* I wonder..where Sonic went off to?"


(30 min later)(Door opens)


Marry: "Here you go, this is where ya'll well stay."
She opened the door as wide as it could and walked in to what looked like to be the foray, There where stairs on the left side but in the back of the room that curved up to the second story, door ways on both sides of the light brown walls covered in old beautiful art.


Amy: " O M … LOOK AT THIS PLACE IT'S SO BIG!"


Lilly: " O WOW, How Awesome is this!"


Blade: "Huff……It's alright"


Marry: "Make your self at home, if you have any problems feel free to call just press Star then 1, if that's all I will be on my way?"


Blade: "Yeah we're good"


I watched as Marry walked passed us to go out and out the door with out another word.
As soon as the door shut Lilly yelled tossing her hands in the air.


Lilly: " LETS GO FIND ARE ROOMS!!!"
She took off up the stairs Blade walking slowly behind her, he yawned when his foot hit the fourth step. Witch reminded me of Sonic for some odd reason, I walked over to the front window to see the sandy shores of the beach and the waves that's colored like the setting sun, the tops of the palm trees dancing with the wind in perfect harmony, strange, I didn't feel happy or excited any more instead I was sad, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I didn't like this feeling; I quickly shook off the bad feeling and ran up stairs to find a room I liked. I finally found a cute room that hade a small balcony on the side, the bed was on the far side of the room with a night stand right beside it. I set my jacket on the bed and made my way to the balcony, the doors where soiled glass with dusty gold framing. I opened the door to see the sun was almost gone over the ocean, the moon was making its way out I could even see some stars starting to shine. But yet again that sad feeling came back.


Amy: "hope you're having fun..."

A smile formed on my face just think of him smiling, laughing and just being him.
A cold breeze swirled around my body that sent a small chill down my spin I took one last look before I walked in side and closed the door behind me.


Lilly: "Hey… You ok?"

I picked up my head to see Lilly was in the door way with one hand on the door frame, with a sad look on her face.


Amy: "Yeah I good I'm just.. Just tired is all."


Lilly: " You sure?"


Amy: " im a turn in early… Big day tomorrow! "
I put on the best smile I could and just waited for her to say something or leave. She looked at me for a few moments then shook her head and smiled along with me before she waved good night and walked out of sight. My eyes found the floor again I walked over to the bed, kicking off my boots and slid in to bed shivering for a moment or two lessoning to the ticking of the clock on the wall, I shut my eyes curling up in a ball and once again waited for sleep to take me away. I woke up some time in the middle of the night hearing something, but I paid no mind to it I was to given out to even open my eyes, I'm not even sure I was even awake, I heard someone whispering, I felt like I have been running miles and miles I was exsosted. The whispering got a little louder.


?????: "Amy…. Amy….."
It took me a moment but I finally knew who it was. I answered him low and groggy; I could feel how dry my mouth was.


Amy: "Sonic what… whatz up?"
I tried to open my eyes but I failed. I heard sonic sigh with relief when he heard me speak. He sat down right next to me on the foot of my bed.


Sonic: "I'll show you soon, just go back to sleep ok"
I felt Sonic standing up to leave I then knottiest he was sitting beside be on the edge of the bed, he took one step and that sad feeling came back before he could even take another step, realizing I didn't want him to go.


Amy: "Wait….well you… can you stay?"
I didn't know how to ask him, did I sound too desperate, selfish, or how I use to when I once was little chasing him around. He didn't answer maybe he didn't hear me in time, or maybe he felt the same as I feared and left acting like his old self. I closed my eyes even titer pulling the covers over my head curling up more and let out a short sad sigh. My eyes flew open when he spoke.



Sonic: "Why must you always hide your face?"


My face must have looked stupid it felt stupid full of shock. He sighed and recovered the few steps he took earlier, walking back to sit beside me once aging placing his hand on my shoulder. I was still frozen.


Sonic: "Come on, I know you didn't fall asleep that fast………well?..."
His hand moving from my shoulder up past my neck, to rest on top of my head gripping the blanket in his hand as he spoke

Amy: "I'm a wake!"
I responded a little louder then a wispier when I felt him tugging on the blanket



Sonic: "Glade to know but I'm still waiting on my first question to be answered……if you don't mind"
He was still tugging lightly on the covers; I felt the covers slipping out of my grip.
I didn't want him to see my face, Did it look as bad as I felt it did?, he got a little bit more of the covers I barely had anything left in my hands, I shifted my weight from my side to my stomach hiding my face in the pillow cuffing my hands on the side of my face, I felt him yanked the blanket off my top half of my body. I heard him let off a quite soft chuckle.


Sonic: "What's wrong Amies?....I'm not mad….."

Amy: "mubble mubble"

Sonic: "haha I can't under stand pillow talk Amies…"
I lifted my head ever so slightly to were my lips where barely touching the pillow

Amy: "I'm embarrassed how my face must look"
He must have misunderstood what I meant cause he chuckle ever so lightly, I felt the bed move underneath me, he was moving, leaning forward?, Then my heart stopped he was leaning down to whisper in my ear, I could feel his breath.

Sonic: "Your Beautiful…."

I let out a disbelieving laugh, I didn't think of me as beautiful, I have seen some girls that tried to win Sonic over and they would have put Rouge to shame, Im just… just me the same old, average looking me. My mind went blank; I felt his lips press lightly on my shoulder for a long second before he spoke aging, his lips barely touching my shoulder moving on my skin as he spoke.


Sonic: "You are my…breathtaking, gorgeous, wild rose…"


Amy: "Each rose has thorns that cut and hurt"


Sonic: "Yes but handled with care they couldn't hurt the one that thrives on its beauty the only way that rose could hurt anyone is if it is ripped out of the hands of its admirer who refuse to let go"

I didn't know what to say I was lost in ah, his words took my breath away, still not finding any words to say I removed my hands from my face and slowly turn my face just enough  to where I could see his eyes and a soft warm smile on his face.


Amy: "Do….where is all this coming from?"


Sonic: "The heart, I have always hidden my feelings im very…how would you say poetic when I feel like it……… and Tails help out a little."
I let out a little giggle at the end I then rember I wanted to ask him where he ran off to, I flipped over to my back and got a good look at his face, he had the smile I loved on his face but he was fighting to keep his eyes open I looked to the window to see nothing but the moon light shining back in lighting up the room my eye browes frowned he must not have liked that for he let out a low sigh I turned back to his face where his hand covffed the side of my face his thum rubbing my cheek.


Sonic: "What's wrong rose?"

Amy: "How late is it?"

Sonic: "late ha im not sure what time it is"

I tried to turn back to the window to see if I could come up with a time but before I could look, Sonic let out a sigh got to his feet before I could ask if he was leaving he bent over and wrapped his arms around my back and legs picking me up from the bed. He then sate down where I was, he placed me as close as he could to his side resting his head on the back of the bed frame, while I put my head on his chest, his heart was beating faster then normal, his breathing was uneasy.


Amy: "Are you ok?"

Sonic: "Yeah....yeah it's been a *BIG WAYN* long day"

Amy: "You have a nice run?"

Sonic: "Huh ya it was ok"

I wanted  to so badly ask him why he took off, not coming home till God only knows what time, maybe he just wanted to run or maybe he wanted to get away form me. Afraid of the answer I just hid my face deeper in to his chest. I didn't know what else to say I know im just over exaggerating but I just couldn't shake this feeling that he was hiding something from me. All of a sudden I felt him tighten his grip around my waist, resting his head on the top of mine.

Sonic: "So did I miss anything?"
He spoke it out in a yawn.

Amy: " Na not much…ya tired"

Sonic: "mmm humm"

(Complite silence)

Amy: "Hey…. Sonic?"

I waited for a moment but he didn't answer I took my face from his chest to look at him but I wasn't able to look up far for he still had his head on mine.

Amy: "Sonic?"

Still no answer I tried one more time to look to make sure he wasn't just ignoring me, But I heard him lightly letting out soft snores he was fast asleep, poor guy must have tired himself out running all over the place.

Amy: "Good Night …."
I whispered to him so low I could barley here myself.

I closed my eyes and listened to the sound of his heart as it slowly calmed back down to normal my eyes getting heavyer. I woke up a little when Sonic started talking in his sleep about his best pal tails and other stuff I failed to lesion to I stared counting his heart beats aging what I heard next took all the tiredness away as soon as I heard it.


Sonic: "Mubble…..Amy…Amy ….don't leave……….I love you….Mubble…don't leave me…..Mubble"

My heart kicked in to over time, not only because he said my name or that i love you but also for the fear of him thinking i would leave him. Closed my eyes thinking of what he said and tried to make since of it, I smiled and calmed down as soon as i said....

Amy: "I would never leave you.......Love you more"

then moments later i was fast asleep
